The Fecal Metabolome database is a freely available electronic database containing detailed information about many small molecule metabolites found in human feces and many concentration values. Each metabolite entry contains more than 110 data fields and many of them are hyperlinked to other databases (KEGG, PubChem, ChEBI, Chemspider, DrugBank, PDB and Uniprot). The information includes literature and experimentally derived chemical data, clinical data and molecular/biochemistry data.
The Human Fecal Metabolome database is integrated into the Human Metabolome Database (HMDB), allowing users to browse the data in different views, Metabolites, Concentrations and Diseases. Users can see the basic information of the compounds, the concentrations of the compounds and the conditions associated with these concentrations. The Human Metabolome Database also supports extensive text, sequence, chemical structure and relational query searches. The Download button provides links to collected sequence, image and text files.
