ChemADVISOR began as a one-woman operation in 1986. At that time Patricia Dsida, a toxicologist and regulatory affairs expert, formed Regulatory Resources, the company that later became ChemADVISOR.
The company’s first lines of business were performing training programs for the new Hazard Communication standard, performing hazard evaluations and shipping classifications and the preparation of Material Safety Data Sheets and labels for hazardous materials. The scope of the business was almost entirely United States and Canadian regulations at that time but it has now grown to cover approximately 90 countries around the world.
In 1988, the LOLI database was created. It’s original purpose was to aid the ChemADVISOR staff in keeping track of regulations across different agencies so that they could better support the core business of writing Material Safety Data Sheets and hazard evaluations. We’re proud to say that our first (M)SDS customer and our first LOLI customer are still with us today.
